Kevin Mara worked in management with a large Canadian retailer for 18 years before beginning his career in law. Kevin graduated from Dalhousie University Law School in 1998 and joined one of Durham's largest firms in January 2000 as an associate solicitor. In October 2006 he opened his own office on Simcoe Street.

Kevin provides services to individuals and businesses in residential and commercial real estate, corporate and commercial matters, and estate planning and administration. He is a former President, Vice President, member of the Executive Committee and Director on the Board for the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce (2004-2014). He is a past Director of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade and a past Director and Chair of Business Advisory Centre Durham His education includes Durham College (Human Resources Management 1989) and Dalhousie University Law School (LL.B. 1998)

Mark Fraser is an Associate at Vanular Lawyers who specializes in Wills, Estates,
Real Estate and uncontested Family Law. Mark was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario and attended law school at the University of Ottawa.

Upon the completion of his studies, Mark moved out West in order to article at a full-service firm in Regina, Saskatchewan where he obtained exposure to all areas of Litigation. After nearly two years out West, Mark returned to the Greater Toronto Area where he has been focusing on Wills, Estates and Real Estate areas of law.


Mark’s finds it very rewarding spending time with clients in the Estate Administration

area. Mark will spend the time needed to support and assist at a time when
often clients are still grieving for a loved one. Mark has a thirst for knowledge and is constantly reading up on case law in order to ensure that he is aware of all the current legal trends. In addition to Mark’s legal practice, he also edits the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest, which is Canada’s largest legal encyclopedia.
